Fiber optic gyroscope(FOG)is widely used in various vehicles and weapons,the special application demands high reliability,four axes FOG adopts redundant-design,including four sensitive axes and two optic sources.The sensitive axes contain three vertical working axes and a spare axis.when the performance of working axes deteriorate,the standby axis will start;the light source contains a working light source and a spare light source,when the source power is abnormal,the system will start a spare light source.Compared to previous FOG,redundant-design effectively improve the reliability.Closed-loop control circuit outputs closed-loop data,including more noise and dynamic information,thus to acquire the close-loop data is significative for restraining noise and optimizing control arithmetic.FOG filtered output data is closed loop output through the digital filter,with the noise reduction processing,it reduces the noise on the circuit and optical of gyroscope,thus it is more accurate.In order to acquire close-loop and filtered output data,the contents spreads as follows:First,Design the closed-loop and filter output data test system.According to the widly used FOG's structure and fiber coil's length,we proposed requirements of the system.Because fiber coil is longer than 200 meters,acquisition system must satisfy the demand.The design of the structure of the system and the main function was given,and the key technique was researched.Filtered data acquisition is adopted low speed acquisition mode,i.e.FOG filtered output data calculate the mean value of 1s,and then send to the computer,this function is used to test the FOG static performance,include standard data acquisition,vibration experiment,temperature,turn the dead experiment.Second,Realization of acquisition system of close-loop and filtered data of FOG.Firstly,appropriate FPGA and high-speed USB chip were chosen,then finished the schematic and the PCB circuit design of the acquisition system;secondly,according to the demands of main function,designed amd wrote the software of FPGA,USB chip and PC;thirdly,the acquisition system function and the test results were showed,and it could satisfy the requirements.Third,testing and analysis the acquisition system of close-loop and filtered data of FOG.The host computer software processed the acquired data,including amplitude distribution,mean,variance,zero bias,zero drift and other information.Verifying error of the test system and the lost number,proving the acquisition data of testing system without error and lost.Through the assessment of the testing system,proved the correctness and reliability of the testing system.
