Burst communication system has been widely used in various fields, the modulation and demodulation technology used is also diverse, this paper proposes the design scheme for the synchronization technique of OFDM demodulation in burst communication systems. OFDM is a modulation technique used in modem, which can provide the system with wide band and reliable communication capability. The fading of wireless channel change, receiving, between the transmitter and the carrier frequency offset and Doppler frequency shift, will cause the difference between the frequency and the frequency of sending and receiving ends; OFDM is modulated by cyclic prefix method to realize anti multipath capability, the receiver complete timing synchronization the main IFTT data window start position, timing synchronization error is greater than the length of cyclic prefix, will lead to the adjacent inter symbol interference (ISI). OFDM modulation technology to realize the application in the communication network, the first is to solve the problem of synchronization.This paper firstly introduces the principle of OFDM, the advantages and disadvantages of the technology, the key technology, and the influence of the synchronization error. Through the research and analysis, it is found that the existence of synchronization error can cause the carrier interference and symbol interference, which leads to the decrease of the demodulation capability and the influence of the system communication. Secondly, the timing synchronization and carrier synchronization of burst transmission channel are studied and analyzed, and several synchronization algorithms are introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm are given. Based on the channel model, frame synchronization, symbol synchronization, carrier frequency offset estimation and frequency offset tracking are analyzed. Third according to the research on synchronization algorithm, OFDM modem design in burst communication system, the implementation method of this scheme mainly highlights synchronization technology, and gives the hardware circuit design, software design, FPGA code simulation code design, verify the feasibility of OFDM synchronization in burst communication system.Finally, with the FPGA as the core, combined with embedded, digital analog conversion and other hardware platform to achieve OFDM modulation and demodulation function design...
