Experimental teaching is an important part of university teaching, but there are many problems in the traditional experimental teaching. For instance, the application's process of experimental teaching can not run smoothly. When the experimental teachers introduce new software installation and test environment, experimental administrators need to install the PC software laboratory experiments and update environment. In addition, when the experimental configuration operation requires higher performance equipment, the schools need to regularly upgrade the host PC configuration or purchasing replacement equipment which increases the input cost of the laboratory hardware and software resources. Therefore, improving the experimental teaching equipment resource utilization and improving the experimental teaching management work become more and more urgent. Desktop Cloud is an important application of the current practice of cloud computing, with ease of deployment, centralized management of data, and safe and efficient features. The cost of inputs by the host laboratory equipment replacement aspect change as a desktop cloud server procurement and construction to achieve the traditional PC desktop environments and terminal device decoupling, the user can access the individual virtual desktop environment at any time in campus network environment. This change can improve the initiative of taking part in teaching and experiments, schedule configuration of virtual computing and storage capacity of the desktop environment flexibly, but also reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs by manpower.Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the current domestic and international research on virtual desktops or cloud technology in experiment teaching,, considering the less relative research of desktop cloud technology and automation dispatch management according to the school's specific needs of laboratory management, design a set of desktop cloud based higher education scheduling management system. According to the system administrators, teachers and students experiment tripartite needs analysis and feasibility analysis, the prototype desktop cloud based college experimental teaching scheduling management system is constructed, and the system architecture, each sub-function modules, data table and table relationships detailed are designed, functional testing and performance testing are completed.Characteristic of this system is that the laboratory management entity was changed into virtual lab management. Using templated experimental environment to create virtual machines, just to maintain a template image for each experimental environment, other virtual lab environment are derived on this basis. System administrator manages the template image, the installation and configuration of test environments in the mirror on this basis more easily. And synchronize each template which corresponding to the basis to solve the allocation problem of deployment of hardware and the update of software resources. Through this efficient business process design, the efficiency losses of the traditional experimental teaching on pre-laboratory application and review process were greatly reduced. Students can choose independent experiments, and experiments can be carried out anywhere in the campus network to complete the submission of the experiment and submit the experimental result, which greatly improved the students' enthusiasm to experiment, but also help to improve the quality of experimental courses. Cluster monitoring and management functions help the system administrator grasp the configuration information and the real-time health status of the host servers within the cluster, as well as virtual machines running on the servers. In the initial application of the test of the unit, the system has better improve for the management efficiency, and has certain application prospect.
