Network is consisted by a large scale of network components which are effected and related. Those network components are often heterogeneous. Different heterogeneities in network undertake different network functions and have distinct invulnerability. In the invulnerability study of heterogeneous network, network function is completed by one or many kind of specific heterogeneous network components. In the dissertation, functional motif are introduced and used to describe network function, in order to study the invulnerability of heterogeneous network. The main result and contribution of this dissertation are as follows:1. Construct heterogeneous network model. After analyzing network heterogeneities to classify heterogeneous network components, the dissertation construct a heterogeneous network model through creating a network topology model and coloring different heterogeneous components on the topology model.2. Introduce the concept of functional motif in the invulnerability study of heterogeneous network, and analyze different functional motif constraint models. Aiming at network function in the invulnerability study of heterogeneous network, the dissertation introduces the functional motif to describe network function and analyzes different constraint functional motifs after analyzing network function.3. Propose different constraint functional motifs' algorithm. Based on ESU algorithm enumerating specific size subgraph in undirected network and network components' different constraints which network function require, calculate the number of network functional motif by judging whether subgraph components satisfy the heterogeneity constraint.4. Simulations are conducted to analyze network invulnerability based on the number of functional motif. Analyze the functional motif factors based on network link density, network topology model, heterogeneous components' proportion and different attack categories.5. A experiment is conducted to show the analysis of heterogeneous network invulnerability based on functional motif. Combination theory and practice, through calculating a specific constraint functional motif, show how to analyze heterogeneous network invulnerability based on functional motif.
