| Since the network architecture is flat, the parameters of base station are diversified and complex, and the network scenarios is heterogeneous in the long term evolution cellular mobile communication system, the existing network management method is not efficient. How to manage the network efficiently has become a hot topic in current researches. Self-organization network (SON) is proposed to meet the requirements of the new communication system and aim at improving intelligence capability and self-organizing ability of the network, and decreasing the manual intervention which will reduce the costs in network operating and maintaining process.Currently, the researches of SON technology are on the theoretical level. Future researches will focus on how to apply theoretical results to practical applications. To solve this problem, we designed the SON demo platform in the research. In the platform, the hardware and software modules is developed, the demo scenario is built, the related self-organization network technologies is studied, and the three functions self-configuration, self-optimizing and self-healing are demonstrated. Furthermore, the demo platform is re-developed according to the heterogeneous characteristic in the next generation cellular mobile communication system. The function of resource self-optimizing in heterogeneous networks is focused, and the algorithms are designed based on interference optimization and network efficiency optimization.The main work and innovation of this paper includes:Firstly, SON demo platform is designed and developed which is used to demonstrate the related technologies and provide the performance evaluation results. My responsibilities include building the demonstration environment, design the database module and the development of user/base station/server software.Secondly, Proposed a multi base station channel and power combined self-configuration algorithms to achieve the highest energy efficiency policy-based network self-configuration. Than proposed a improved algorithms for self-optimizing due to the network week coverage scene. In addition, the process is designed to achieve self-healing features. All the functions were verified in SON demonstration platform.Finally, The resources self-optimizing module of heterogeneous network was developed in the demonstration platform. Polynomial function model for WLAN optimization algorithm, detection and network optimization algorithm from random strong interference and energy efficiency optimization algorithm based on network base station dormancy mechanism were proposed.The feasibility of SON technology is verified and performances of the algorithms are evaluated in the study under the SON demo platform. What’s more, it lays a good reference for applications which use SON technology. |
