Research On Minimalist Design For Mobile APP

With the rapid development of mobile internet technology, mobile phone applications(short for APP) areemerging more and faster, the user's choice and operating experience has become more abundant, while huge amounts of information in various forms as continuous infiltration into the client by APP platform. By studying the theory and design method of minimalist design can invent a new different way of developing APP to make users receive,master and diffuse of information better, and improve the user's operating experience.The first part, introduce the theoretical concepts of minimalist style and design of mobile applications, analysis the characteristics of the minimalism style showed in the design field. Study the evolution of APP design style, the current trend of minimalist design in the APP and its characteristics. Overview the difference and restrictions caused by the different technical frameworks for APP design.In the second part, divide APP interaction level into three dimensions, visual level into four dimensions, analysis minimalist design principles of each dimension combined with the theories of user's cognition, behavior, emotions,. And finally summarize its advantages and shortages in these two levels.The third part, analyze the users with the aid of research methods, such as user interviews and CJM, grasp the users' psychology and behavior habit in order to understand user needs and problems. Analysis the relevant competing products at the same time, digging design weaknesses, establish design model and design process driven by minimalist design principle.The fourth part, the comprehensive analysis of the previous chapters, puts forward the design method of minimalist design for APP under the framework of Hybrid, complete design project and verify its feasibility through user testing. In turn, to supplement and modification of minimalist design principle, attach great importance and values of minimalist design principles.
