The vision measurement system has been applied in many areas of the national economy because of its characteristics on high speed, precision, stability and automation in operation.With the development of microelectronics technology, embedded vision measurement systems are increasingly being used in various industrial applications, especially those kinds which are unsuitable to use vision measurement based on PC. Some new demands, of the high stability and mobility, has been decided by the characteristics on the applications and power consumption of the embedded vision measurement system.As the important part of the vision measurement system, the light source will influence the the quality of the input data greatly and also the application results to the extent of 30%. In vision measuring, the measuring results will be influenced by the natural lights, the position and the surface grain of the object and so on. The excessive unfavorable factors to the image quality can be avoided by an excellent light source, which can response the external influence factors timely, in order to acquire the image which has high quality and high contrast ratio.First of all, the LED driven by the PWM was chosen by the light source of the vision measurement system in this paper after the analysis of the influence to the image quality by the light intensity in the angle of the image luminance and the image contrast ratio. Then circuit of the LED driven by the PWM was designed, and also the experiment was done in order to test and verify characteristic of the brightness adjustment.After analyzing the characteristics of the power consumption of the embedded vision measurement system based on COM Express, A DC power supply constituted by a portable mobile power lithium-ion and a DC / DC voltage regulator module is designed. With the characteristics of a large capable of energy and high mobility, the lithium-ion mobile power can satisfied the power demand when the embedded vision measurement system is far from the Mains supply. While the DC / DC voltage regulator module can regulate the input voltage of the embedded vision measurement system to the level of its rated voltage thus the problem of voltage wave resulted from the step-current of the embedded vision measurement system is solved.After the completion of the DC / DC regulator module design in theory, the simulation was carried out as also as the PCB design. In the end, the experimental test of the DC power supply is done to verify the feasibility of the program.
