In recent years, with the rapid development of cloud computing, massive storage capacity and massive computing capacity of cloud computing brought new opportunities for the development of the field of security, the traditional video surveillance platform is also difficult to meet the need of massive video data storage, Although there have been some attempts to implement a universal platform based on the cloud environment, but it is still a challenge.In this paper, aimed to resolve the problems of real-time transmission, security, bandwidth dependence and high transmission costs. We designed and implemented a cloudbased video surveillance platform, which uses cloud storage technology to solve the issue of massive video data storage. And use the feature of cloud platform to solve the issue of scalability. Then use the H.264 video coding standard and RTSP video real-time transport protocol to solve the problem of bandwidth dependence and real-time transmission. We also implement an embedded sensor network for identification, the network uses dynamic IP binding method to support video transmission, indirectly solves the instability of dynamic IP and fully uses the resources of FTTH. The main research work are as follows:(1) The design and implement of the architecture for the cloud-based video surveillance platform.In order to resolve the urgent challenges. By analyzing of customer needs and the shortage of the video surveillance platform, we design and implement the architecture of video surveillance platform, the logical architecture of the platform is divided into four layers: the application layer, the logical layer, the access layer, data layer.(2) The design and implementation of embedded sensor network, which is based on dynamic IP binding scenarios.The traditional video transmission scheme use special-purpose line to support video transmission, and it bring the problem of expensive bandwidth cost, so we proposed and implemented a dynamic IP binding scheme based on embedded sensor network, instead of using special-purpose line, we use the relatively inexpensive public networks. Meanwhile, the embedded sensing device also integrates the function of device monitoring and device alarming.(3) The design and implementation of distributed processing architecture based on Spark streaming.The traditional video surveillance platform is inefficiently in video processing, so we proposed a distributed processing architecture based on Spark streaming, the real-time video stream is delivered to spark master node, and the spark task scheduler distribute the tasks to the slave nodes. Then the slave nodes process the video tasks in parallel.(4) In this paper, the storage module consists of relational database and distributed file system, we provided a unified access interface to the storage module, which supports storage of heterogeneous data. The distributed file system also present good performance on disaster resistance and robust.Finally, after a rigorous functionality and performance evaluation, it is proved that the cloud-based video surveillance platform has good application value in the field of video surveillance.
