A large number of industrial processes have the characteristic of time delay in the industrial process control. In addition, as well as the inverse response characteristic, the integral characteristic further increases the difficulty to design the control system. Although some control system design methods have been proposed for those integral processes with inverse response and dead time, such as the water level system of the boiler drum, it is still worth exploring the improvement of the control system in order to obtain a better control effect. The main work of this paper is to study the control method of object integral inverse response delay. The research on control methods for such processes is the main work of this paper. The related research background is introduced at first. Then the dynamic response characteristics of the inverse response processes with time delay are explained. Along with the disturbance observer, the H2 optimal control theory is introduced.Based on these theories, the main work of this paper is to propose a new design method of the control system by combining the disturbance observer structure and the H2 optimal control theory. The novel analytical design methods both for H2 PID Controller and the disturbance observer filter are obtained. On the other hand, the application of control theory to the actual industrial processes is a hot issue that many researchers concerned on. The transformation of the control strategy into the hardware platform PAC(Programmable Logic Controller), is another main work in this paper. The product OPTO22 SNAP PAC is adopted, along with its supporting software PAC Project. The PAC product provides PAC control strategy flowcharts and the control algorism will be programmed and uploaded to the PAC platform. The trial can be carried on the MATLAB/SIMULINK and PAC through OptoOPC Server. The work makes contributions to the exploration for the practical application in the industry processes control.
