In recent years, facial expression recognition technology has become a hot topic, this is due to a human expression feature is the external manifestation of the inner world, through facial expression recognition features that can help us learn more about the people grasp inside information.This article will Android platform design and develop a facial expression recognition system, which includes two functions, one of the effective face recognition, face recognition function that is based on the facial expression and the other is an accurate classification that face recognition. By using this system can be drawn normal, happy, fear, surprise, anger, disgust and sadness facial expression and other seven states. When the system design, mainly related to the OpenCV image processing algorithms for image acquisition and image normalization operation, based on skin color and face detection technology to detect human faces. When the image expression recognition, mainly related to the support vector machine algorithm for facial expression image samples are classified training and training results ported to Android platform, face recognition system facial expression classification, thereby obtaining the facial expression recognition result.Finally, the article is designed facial expression recognition system in operation under different circumstances test, the test results show that the system meets the requirements of the system design, it is possible to recognize different expressions.
