In the network era of highly developed science and technology,identity authentication has become an indispensable part of life, everyone of the traditional identity authentication has many forms, basically rely on the external things,such as,idcard, static or dynamic passwords,smart CARDS, dynamic password, etc., these objects are easy to steal, copy, or crack, facing numerous defects, now urgently needs a kind of high safety and convenience of identity authentication way to replace the traditional way of identity authentication.Iris was part of human physiological structure, it is the only visible outside the body's internal organs, 6 to 18 months after the baby was born on basic finalize the design, and the lifelong remains the same, everyone has a uniqueness of iris texture,take advantage of this unique advantage, iris recognition has become all biometric security, stability in the highest way of biometrics.Early for iris recognition at home and abroad have had a lot of research, but because of the limitation of all kinds of bottlenecks, development is relatively slow,turned to face, fingerprint, palmprint, speech and other recognition. Iris recognition difficulty lies mainly in image acquisition and positioning, the hardware part of the requirements for camera is extremely high, and the positioning of the iris in software difficulty is very big also, since there are a lot of scholars in the study of its.In this paper, on the basis of the iris recognition achieved preliminary iden tity authentication system, the system mainly includes: hardware implementation algorithms of image acquisition, processing, interface system. Iris images from the camera to collect human eyes to treated algorithm to get the final result,the algorithm processing is the core of the whole system, including, the human eye detection, the pupil and iris localization, iris normalization, Loggabor texture feature extraction, coding alignment, etc, the problem is the iris localization and texture feature extraction.On the basis of previous studies, this paper analysed the pros and cons of common positioning methods, and comparing with their positioning method, the analysis of experimental results, compared with other positioning method, on the speed and accuracy has a certain degree of increase, meet the demand of the basic properties of the algorithm, with Qt interface design system and fusion algorithm, and finally realize the identity authentication system functions, basic can be used in the field of security level is relatively low.
