Nowadays, the development of mechatronics greatly influences the global world. Automated factory, flexible manufacturing systems, industrial robot, enable the industry to enter into a new era. It strongly challenges the traditional industry which is longing for transformation and upgrading due to its own problems and fierce competition within the field. Traditional industry demands more automation equipment whose quantity and types are constantly increasing in every field in the industry and production, such as welding, handling, painting, painting, assembling, testing etc. In the field of stamping, most small and medium sized enterprises are dependent on manual operation, resulting in low efficiency, and high labor cost, which will never raise the core competence of the enterprise and make workers suffer from hostile working environment. This thesis designs an automation equipment to cooperate with punching machine, so as to achieve the automated in-and-out of material--- Rapid access stamping manipulator.At first, this project briefly analyzes the application and development of Manipulator from home and abroad. Through field research, some data and structure of punching machine and motor lamination are collected. Based on the specific requirement of the manufacture, discussing and analyzing the problems of mechanical equipment in the enterprises, in order to provide the idea for the design of new equipment. After that, with optimizing organization, we can select and summarize the better scheme. In the end, we will work out a set of design scheme that if feasible and reliable. we organizes a team to select one program and sets up three-dimensional modeling by SolidWorks so as to design part structure and the whole structure of the equipment, and virtually assemble them. Then ANSYS is used to analyze static torsional strength of the part and optimize the part. Finally develop the virtual assembly automation equipment with servo motor controlled by PLC and driven by cylinder.I make the careful choose of material of the non-standard parts, also I select and purchase standard parts model. Assembling process is taken into consideration and designed when the part is manufactured to ensure everything goes well. In accordance with the designed assembling process and the three-dimensional assembly. Two-month debugging ensures that the expected action can be finished. The equipment is then sent to the factory to work with punching machine so as to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, security and service life etc., which are required by the enterprises. It turns out that the equipment meets the needs of enterprises.
