Research Of Network Security Situation Assessment Based On Cloud Model

Passive defense technology has been unable to meet the needs of users with the gradual increasing network security incidents. Network security situation assessment is a new technology to monitor network security, and it is one of the hot research domains in information security. The research of Network security situaiton assessment has great importance in improving ablities to respond to emergences, reduce losses of network attacks,reveal abnormal intrucsions, and enhance system abilities of fighting back.The theory including tecnology, model and method of security situation assessment is disscussed in the paper, and the theory of cloud model was described.In view of the network situation characteristics, we adopt systems analysist method, and contruct a multiayer and dimensinality network situation evaluation index system from the point of view of transfer service, assets, vulnerability, security event, phsicial device.A model of network security stuation assessment based on cloud model is propsed,including target standardization and weight calculation, the method for situation assessment and the building of the model. Improved analytic hierarchy process is used for weight calculation, and the model is abstracted from data layer, information layer and knowledge layer.Making use of the above-mentioned studying, an experiment platform of network situation assessment is designed and implemented, and a detailed description of the design and implementation of the primary module is given. At the last, the veracty of the index system and model are verified through experiments.
