In recent years, with the increasing urbanization, along with increasingly larger and more complex buildings, the influence of the complex design of the interior of the building is getting bigger and bigger. Many buildings will appear the phenomenon such as too many road and too large, these phenomena will lead to waste a lot of time and energy. In recent years, Europe puts forward the concept of People's “Smart City” to facilitate Daily lives and reduce unnecessary waste of time or energy. The development of indoor positioning technology provides foundations for the indoor navigation, thus enabling to connect indoor and outdoor navigation. In this paper, the existing indoor positioning technology and path search algorithms are analyzed and summarized. When we choice the technology used in this system, using the method of literature research, the indoor positioning technology and path search algorithm are analyzed by way of comparison. In order to analyze the indoor positioning technology and path search algorithm, according to its advantages and disadvantages and applicable scope, finally select the geomagnetic indoor positioning technology and the optimization of the heuristic function A* algorithm combined enumeration method to achieve indoor multi destination navigation path search system.Indoor navigation system is a subproject of Integrated Real-time Mobility Assistant(IRMA) and it provides an indoor navigation based on geomagnetic positioning. In this paper, the heuristic function of A* routing algorithm is optimized. The system consists of two parts. Implementation synchronizes information from multiple systems through API and Web Services. Navigation system draws A * path finding algorithm, and it applies an enumeration method to achieve the multi-destination indoor navigation. This thesis illustrates system requirements, system design, system implementation and system test. It proposes a new indoor navigation solution based on geomagnetic positioning technology. Through the strict test, confirm that the system has been implemented all the contents in the requirement, and can be released. At last, summarize all the work that has been done and explain the future work.
