Domain Oriented 6LoWPAN Network Monitoring Tool And Routing Optimization

With the rapid development of wireless sensor network related technology, wireless sensor networks are becoming more and more popular in people's life. The two application scenarios in this paper are very close to people's real life, they are wireless information collection system for HAVC and wireless information collection system for heating monitoring. This paper has two parts, one part is 6Lo WPAN network performance monitoring tool, the other one is the study on route optimization based on opportunistic routing for network reliability.Through the investigation on status of Wireless Senso r Networks, Wireless sensor network routing protocol and Network monitoring technology of Internet, we start our research on 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool and route optimization based on opportunistic routing.The following is the work we have done on design and implementation of 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool.First, we have some study on the principle of opportunistic routing and do some analysis on its code. We transplanted the opportunistic routing protocol to the existing hardware platform, test its performance, and do some adjusts on the parameters. Then we test the opportunistic routing protocol after the adjustment.The test focused on the reliability of network.Second, we do some analysis on the architecture of the two systems. On the base of the system's architecture, we finished the requirement analysis and the overall design scheme of the 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool. In order to find the way to realize the 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool, we do further research on Contiki MAC and RPL routing protocol. And develop solutions to the 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool in connectivity, reliability, energy consumption and so on.Third, propose two adaptive solutions for the non functional requirements of 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool.Finally, according to the design before realize the 6Lo WPAN network monitoring tool. And then do some test on the tool mainly focus on its functionality, in order to verify the correctness of the tool.
