In recent years, smart financial terminals have very limited functions, lack of maintaining mechanism and cloud service integration. This thesis developed a cloud service driven software system running on the smart financial terminal, thus, made it an open platform with big data cloud service integrated.The software system includes web service interface and terminal software. For the first part, this thesis designed a series low coupling and high scalability web interfaces based on REST, constructed its interface rules in data format, authentication and interface security, etc. To solving the developing problem caused by various request types and concurrent visiting, this thesis developed a customized network request framework using thread pool technique. For the second part, this thesis implemented four modules of terminal software system:payment, account management, software updating and push service. This thesis integrated third part payment using CSS architecture, use OAuth2.0 protocal to make third part application authentication more secure, implemented software quiet installation based on system ceritification and promoted the arrival rate and performance of the push service using websocket technology coupled with double service mechanism.Verification and test results show that the design of the financial terminal software system achieved the desired requirements. Under normal network condition, the responsing time of pay operation is less than 5 seconds and 99 percents success rate. Online software update and third part application authentication operate correctly. The pushing service achieves 90 percents arrive rate and the delay is within 30 minutes.
