Abstract/Summary:
The interaction between laser delivery system’s components, making the analysis of stray light and beam pointing stability becomes extraordinarily complicated in the system, especially in some high-energy systems which seriously influence the beam’s quality and propagation properties as the transmission, reflection, scattering and attitude change of many optical surfaces. It’s very important to use the relevant software to analyze it rigorously because the reliability and precision of the software is the guarantee of reliable results. Although it is possible to verify the accuracy of software’s results by the actual operating system, but the operation is very complicated, costly, nor intuitive and there is a risk to injury system.It is necessary to establish a special experimental verification systems to verify he analysis results more convenient and direct.This work including the design of experimental verification system, software simulation, experimental verification, error analysis,etc. Designing the corresponding experimental verification system for different optics,through the simulation on the software that is developed by our department with experimental verification, to verify the analysis performance of the OTS from multiple perspectives. In the part of stray light’s verification, it’s not only analyzes the position change of the ghost for components with different tilt angles, but also includes the impact of component’s machining errors in the radius of curvature and assembly errors in the system. Then in the section beam pointing stability, a detailed analysis of the lens unit and the reflective member is inclined to the eccentric beam pointing stability of the system and simulated the multi-pass amplification module in the high power laser delivery system.In addition, proposing a sub-pixel algorithm for spot center’s extraction based on the characteristics of energy distribution in the cross section for laser transmission.
