At present, intelligent robot has become an international focus and hot research field for most countries, the related research is very active now. In our country, robotics is a high-tech field cultivated by government. With the development of robotics research, various robot competitions have also been strong support at home and broad. The robotics competition has a great significance to cultivate the spirit of innovation and teamwork of contestants and promote the popularization and development of robot technology.The main work of this paper is to study the stealth navigation of micro-robot with the background of China Education Robot Competition. Firstly, compared to the deficiency of original system, the design of stealth navigation is studied in details, which includes the principles and characteristics of different sensors. Secondly, in order to improve the performance of group collaborative robot, ZigBee wireless network is adopted in this paper. Thirdly, the system of micro-robot is designed in module:Arduino based controller module, path detection module (Inductive sensor and RFID), XBee communication module, motor drive module and so on. Fourthly, after the test of hardware and software, the system has been verified in competition. Lastly, for the further development, the LM3S1138 microprocessor which is embedded ?C/OS-II real-time operating system is proposed as the main controller.
