Although many RFID authentication protocols solved some security vulnerabilities in RFID system, most of them did not have a kind of rigourous, reliable and logic way to prove these protocol if they were security. The designers showed these protocols could resist some attrack by some empirical analysis. At the same time, these protocols assumed that tags can be used to calculate the Hash function, the AES algorithm or the asymmetric encryption operation, which is not in conformity with the actual application.. The RFID tags in the system at the present stage for low-cost passive tags, this kind of label is unable to bear the calculation of complex operation. This paper designed a multi-RFID tags authentication protocol based on quadratic residue to protect the RFID system, and proved it could satisfied the special safety requirements of RFID system. The proposed protocol could make the passive low cost RFID tags mutual authenticated with the RFID reader come true with the limited memory under EPC Global strandard. Based on EPC Global strandard, analysises the security requirement for mutual authentication protocol of RFID system to deal with the problems of RFID system's security and privacy preserving and designed the multi-RFID tags authentication protocol based on quadratic residue.Used Strand Space to analysis the multi-tags authentication protocol, and built the Bundle figure of the protocol. Proved the proposed protocol credible and could satisfy the special safety requirements of RFID system. The propoese protocol can resist known kinds of attacks, and can complete the mutual authentication between RFID tag and RFID reader.
