Based on the background of safe city construction and resource sharing, combined with the current situation of Lanzhou video resources, we used Super Map as GIS software platform, J2 EE enterprise architecture as system development backstage, flex rich client technology and Super Map API for Flex client, and established the Integrated Video Management System of Lanzhou city. the system integrates all the video monitoring resources and implements the shortest path analysis, buffer analysis, rapid position location, quick search, map browsing and other GIS related functions. At the same time, the monitoring cameras and map are integrated not only to illustrate the spatial distribution characteristics of surveillance cameras but also to reflect the advantages of traditional monitoring system in order to realize the functions of the transfer of real time video content, videos, capturing, pan- titl control by directly clicking the surveillance camera on the mapDuring the design and implementation of the system, this paper analyzes and studies the following main algorithms and content.(1) The existing camera view analysis algorithm is improved, so the calculation of the control pan-titl camera monitoring visual area is more reasonable. Combined with the GIS map, the coverage area of Lanzhou City surveillance cameras is displayed. The algorithm provides a guideline for the subsequent selection of the monitoring sites, and a theoretical basis for the ultimate surveillance system's realization of key areas with least blind area.(2) Coding rule of Lanzhou City's cameras is discussed and established in order to quickly find a surveillance camera.(3) Linkage effect is realized by combined the traditional monitoring camera with GIS map, and cameras' spatial distribution is easy to get.(4) Combined with the rendering function of the existing browser, without affecting the display effects, the map symbols are aggregated to reduce the load burden of the browser and improve the efficiency of the system.(5) The system realizes the online access to monitoring video, daily surveillance and take turns-cycle play, video sharing, the shortest path analysis, buffer analysis, quick location, map browsing and other functions.
