With the rapid development of information technology, high-speed and high coverage of the network, making the network increasingly become an important part of people's daily lives. Under background of enhancing science literacy, Science and Technology Museum as an important place for the popularization of scientific knowledge, how to make full use of modern network technology to build efficient, beautiful science museum information portal has an important role.While the construction of science and technology museum information portal is imperative, the reality now still has many problems. Through statistical analysis we draw the following conclusions:The foreign Science and Technology Museums play more attention to the construction of information portal. While building early, quantity, the proportion of science museums information portal construction reaches 100%. What's more, the usage and the effectiveness of the information portal is higher. Domestic science and technology museum entity construction quantity continuously rapid growth, but the corresponding practical of science and technology information portal is less than 30%, and part of the portal websites have associated settings, but the content updates slowly, lack of information maintenance, lead to the result that the efficiency in the use of the site is not high, and some even useless.To sum up, the author determined to Science and Technology Museum Information Portal Construction as the research subject, through comparative analysis, put forward suggestions for improvement, with a view to lay the foundation for the following research, which provides the practical reference for the construction of the in formation portal of the science museum.The core research part of this paper is the statistical analysis of domestic and foreign Science and Technology Museum information portal construction. By comparative analysis and case study, the author calculated more than 380 Science Center in the United States and more than 1200 Museum of science and technology in domestic, and chose from a greater influence of 10 portals to focus on the analysis of the research. Finally, put forward reasonable suggestions for the construction of the Science and Technology Museum Information Portal from the four core aspects of information architecture in the research.The full text is divided into seven chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, including the research background, significance, research status and specific questions to be solved in the paper. Content analysis, network survey, comparative research, case studies and other methods are used for the detailed study. Using Google Map, Sogou and Baidu Map and other tools, to statistics present situation of construction of science and technology museums around the world, we found that there are relatively abundant science and technology museum construction in the economic and technological development areas. So we have established the United States for further study. From the importance of the information portal network era, the importance of science popularization, the gap between domestic and foreign construction and other aspects, we found that building information portal for science and technology museum has great significance. The second chapter is the theoretical basis. Respectively, from the definition of information architecture, the role and the current status of research in the field to elaborate on the theoretical basis of this study, making this paper is feasible. Chapter ? to Chapter ? is the key part of this study. We study the construction of information system, organization identification system, navigation system, search system in four aspects, by combining theory with case analysis and comparative analysis methods, respectively, on the current situation of foreign construction in China is analyzed in detail, and combined with the actual and put forward the proposal of construction to improve the practice of the research. The final chapter is the conclusion and prospect.
