Based on the design of a large aperture infrared/visible electro-optical stabilized platform, the thesis focuses on the error measurement and compensation scheme for gyro installation in the stabilized platform, and analyzes the influence of the gyro installation error on pointing accuracy of the stabilized platform by simulation. In addition, the design of the mechanical structure of the stabilized platform is discussed.The main work is organized as follows:(1) The basic working principle and system composition of the stabilized platform are introduced, and the relationship between the angular velocity of the ring frame and the angular velocity of the external disturbance is derived. This lay a theoretical foundation for subsequent pointing error analysis.(2) According to the project requirements, the structure design of the electro-optical stabilized platform is studied. Based on the analysis of the influence of shaft assembly quadrature error on the angle measurement accuracy of the stabilized platform, the quadrature error distribution scheme of the shaft assembly is proposed.(3) The simulation model is established and analyzed with Matlab/Simulink. And the simulation results show that the gyro installation error has a significant influence on the pointing accuracy improvement of the stabilized platform.(4) The ARMA model is established for gyro random drift error sequences. And based on this model, the Kalman filter is designed to reduce the random drift error of the gyro, and improve the resolution of the gyro installation error.(5) All based on the hardware of the electro-optical stabilized platform, the gyro installation error measuring system is built. The gyro installation error is measured and compensated. At last, the validity of the measurement results and the compensation scheme of the gyro installation error is verified by experiment.
