With the rapid development of Internet things, a lot of information security products are gradually coming into our lives, such as bank card, the U shield, password dog and so on. Because the applications of these security products are mostly related to the vital interests of people, it is particularly important for us to increase its security. The most important part of these security products is the cryptographic module, used for encryption or decryption. As the generation of pseudo random number is one of the key technologies in the cryptographic module, it has the great significance to design a good cryptographic pseudo random number generator.Some of the authors of the existing papers researched on the pseudo random number generators used for the passive tags in the RFID system, simply put forward their design methods of pseudo random number generators, but not give a complete test results of the pseudo random number sequence. Or the pseudo random number generators proposed have a slowly generating rate, which can't meet the needs of pseudo-random sequence on certain occasions. To solve these problems, a careful study on pseudo random number generators is made. This thesis work is as follows:Firstly, a detailed introduction is made on the pseudo random number generators used in the RFID system. Then two novel kinds of pseudo random number generators are proposed. The first random number generator based on true random number selected feedback structure and MISR polynomial hash function structure, can generate pseudo random numbers of 32-bit, which not only produces random Numbers of meeting the conditions, but also improves the random number generation rate. The second random number generator is based on the reconfigurable parallel shift register. The reconfigurable architecture enhances sequence randomness. The technology of assembly line is adopted in the parallel shift register structure, which can not only reduce the using area of passive tags in the RFID system, but also enhance the output rate of random number sequence.Secondly, a large number of tests are made on the random number sequences generated by the above two novel kinds of pseudo random number generators. The experimental results show that the presented two novel kinds of pseudo random number generators can both pass the random tests proposed by the NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology to the National Institute of Standards and Technology), SCA(State Cryptography Administration) and EPC(Electronic Product Code Electronic Product Code) Class-1 GEN-2 standards.
