Design And Implementation Of IPTV Service Analysis System

IPTV is an important part of today's smart home. Users want to have good broadcast quality as traditional cable television such as high-definition video. Therefore the experience quality is an important factor of service acceptable by users. And the IPTV service analysis system is the foundation of scale development of IPTV service.IPTV service analysis system is used to establish the complete monitoring and analyzing management of IPTV end-to-end system, based on the influence factors of video quality. It monitors key data on customers' usage of video and audio, HTTP page views, etc. The set-box, embedded in quality collection module, is communicated with platform by FTP. It uploads user's feedback of using IPTV. The platform quantified and evaluated users' perception by analyzing the huge amounts of information. Meanwhile the platform achieves the objectives of troubleshooting prior to users themselves by monitoring the quality during each network element in the end-to-end system. This system is developed by B/S model. From the point of technology, it's developing language is JAVA on the WEB presentation layer. From the point of data storage, Hadoop and Hbase database is used to store huge amounts of Key-values. Oracle database is used to store the statistics data. And SOCKET is used to implement communicate among different modules. The main function of the system includes the global TOPology view, alarm, single user query perception, integrated to barrier function and built-in soft probe to set-TOP boxes. We made a lot of depth research and analysis with the aim of user experience. The point of the thesis is to realize the recording and processing of big data Hadoop while using data mining to correlation and analysis. Structured databaseuses the Exadata of Oracle. Is meets the requirement of real-time analysis of large amounts of dataand quick trouble location.IPTV service analysis system has been successfully applied in Shanghai, with carrying 500,000 users by the end of January. The system provided measurable service quality, further promoted the development of IPTV service in Shanghai. It provides more plentiful network application for users.
