The pape will combine with the use of communication theory and related knowledge, and propose by the methods of literature review, case analysisand the analysis comparison and so on. On the basis of communication theory, author will make a in-depth analyze and explore on the characteristics of the new ageand the new impact of the stock market rumors in the media era.In this paper, firstly learn and absorb the research achievements of Chinese and foreign scholars in this area, and with scientific and objective attitude to attention and study the phenomenon of A-share market rumor in China since th emedia age. And to sort out the A-share market rumors of our country, then will analyze from the nature of the rumors, classification, characteristics, causes and other aspects. Finally found in the media age, the A-share market rumors of our county whether in A bear market or in A bull market, it always spread good rumors from the media platforms, and stock investors in the face of stock market rumors mostly not rational and calm. So they should believe it, that is easy to be confused by rumors, easy to make the wrong investment strategy. Through the analysis of the study also found that the effectiveness of China's a-share market information dissemination is still insufficient. In other words, that is the information disclosure system of our country securities market and control system of network information also have a big problem. So to solve these problems, the paper will also put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
