This article belongs to the software engineering category. It is the research on the separating Frequency Hopping Scheme and Equalization algorithm based on USRP Software Platerform. For the requirements of spectral analysis and intelligent network optimization, analysising the signal based on USRP software radio platform is needed.Existing mobile communication technology applications a variety of modulation and multiple access methods. Due to the complex reality of the radio channel, encryption and frequency hopping technology are used. To receive real-time decoding signals, for the need to eliminate the Doppler shift, inter-symbol interference and other factors,Equalization algorithm is needed to adopt the demodulate the signal.This paper is on researching the GSM network air interface protocol using software defined radio platform. This project requires to achiever decoding, and analyzing the mobile signal. It is actually to design a software-based Signal comprehensive tester, which can effectively use in Intelligent mobile communication network optimization.This paper discusses the simulation of the Viterbi equalizer demodulation algorithm. A clear separating Frequency Hopping Scheme is determined. we used the USRP + GNURadio platform in the Linux system for researching the GSM air interface protocol. By using the Matlab software simulation platform, we build a protocol analysis simulation platform. After matching the date rate, filtering and searching the Frequency Correction Signal(FCCH) & the Synchronization Channel(SCH), we decode SCH to get the frame number and the base station identification number, map the signal channeles. The actual test results show that under low SNR conditions, by the equalization demodulation, the signal is accurately demodulated and decoded. After processing by the improved soft decision Viterbi equalization demodulation, a low bit error rate has been gotten.
