Radar imaging technology has always been playing an important role in the military and civilian areas of modern society, so this thesis uses electromagnetic way strictly computing the scatter echo in order to analysis of radar imaging. The signal incidents to the target surface and then the current flow induces secondary scatter field. The incident signal and the target information make up the scattered signal through rigorous electromagnetic calculation method, so the final imaging result based on coupling between the scattering and incident. This thesis first study three different CEM methods: MoM with the highest precision, FMM based on MoM, and PO with the relativeworst precision, understanding the basic electromagnetic Maxwell equations with the maths, the scatter ways of the current description on the mesh triangle, and matrix equation calculation. Then the Range- Doppler imaging algorithm, which is the most representative of the classic Synthetic Aperture Radar, deals with the scatter echo which has been calculated by CEM. Calculation of electromagnetic radar echoes acquiring digital signal processes algorithm image, which works as the academic convergence. Then this thesis explores the lots of imaging influences including CEM method, radar absorbing material, halfspace scattering and polarization of electromagnetic, with many examples expanding the application fields of conventional radar imaging.Additionally, this thesis describes the rotation target microdoppler phenomenon studied based on CEM. Both FMM and PO can quickly and efficiently calculate the rotation of the target electromagnetic scattering characteristics, including the target surface currents and RCS, thereby characterized rotation of the target due to the radial velocity doppler shift associate characteristics.
