Recently, Cassegrain antenna is in the dominant position of antenna in the world, the profile accuracy of antenna is one of the important performance index. This paper is mainly about dynamics analysis of 9 m Cassegrain antenna. In order to ensure the profile accuracy of antenna, the dynamics analysis is required in the process of tracking. The main research works are as follow:1. The finite element of the antenna is established in ANSYS considering the structure demand and design requirement of 9 m antenna. Reflector and basement are the most important components in the antenna.According to the design scheme, the model connecting part is simplified. In the principle of reducing quality and ensuring the rigidity of antenna, the back frame the center and side support rod is optimized.2. Wind, gravity and inertia loads will cause the deformation and strain of structure system in dynamics analysis of antenna. Using the profile accuracy as the evaluation index, the main best-fit and main surface preset technology is applied in the circumstance of eight stage stochastic wind and gravity.3. The main modes are selected. Due to the complexity structure of 9 m antenna, model reduction is needed. According to the two kinds of different reduction criteria, the 25 bar truss structure is verified by simulation analysis. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are verified by simulation analysis.4. The dynamic analysis of the complement and the reduced model.(1) The dynamic model is established using ANSYS and ADMAS, the main modes are selected and the antenna base is considered as rigid body built in ADMAS.(2) A complete model established in ANSYS the complete model and the reduced model of the antenna are analyzed respectively, and the output data of the two models are compared. This paper has laid a solid foundation for the study of dynamic performance of large reflector antenna.
