With the application of fingerprint identification is extending, every aspect of its requirement is in constant increase, including strengthening the performance of the fingerprint identification algorithm, the ascension of the fingerprint identification speed and the research of interface used in human-computer interaction. Aiming at solving the phenomenon, therefore, the implementation of image distortion correction algorithm based on look-up table and image enhancement algorithm is improved, meanwhile, the hardware circuit is designed and a new software upper machine used in human-computer interaction is developed.Firstly, we analyze the definition and types of biological recognition technology in this paper, then the process of fingerprint identification algorithm is introduced, emphatically the image distortion correction algorithm. Next the realization of the hardware system design is introduced. Finally we introduce the software interface design of upper computer used for human-computer interaction and analyze the test results of the software.In fingerprint recognition algorithm, fingerprint identification algorithm includes image preprocessing, feature extraction and feature matching. Image preprocessing includes image distortion correction, image enhancement and so on. We mainly introduce the introduction of the image preprocessing, and improve the implementation of image distortion correction algorithm based on look-up table.By adding timer the time of fingerprint acquisition and correction is measured.The speed of fingerprint recognition is improved by 78 ms with using the improved algorithm.In image enhancement,we can reduce the complexity of the operation to a certain extent by using the template of the fingerprint image and the Gabor function design.In hardware,ARC600 kernel BR6210 is selected as micro controller, through the SPI interface to achieve the main controller and sensor communication to collect fingerprint image, and save it in the memory space;GC0307 optical sensor is used as fingerprint sensor to capture images;The system is powered by USB, the power supply is provided by the power source converting circuit;AME8500 is chosen as reset chip to realize the initialization function of the circuit.In software, the software of upper machine is developed in the platform of Windows, using dynamic link library developing function interface, and it includes communication module, image transmission module and the user interface module.Communication methods including USB and serial communication, with using Win API function to realize.image transmission is realized by using MFC package CBitmap programming.the user interface is designed by using MFC application based on the dialog. through the addition of different buttons and send different messages to come into different processing. The software system and hardware system are connected by USB or serial port to test the function of the upper computer.
