In the machine vision system, algorithm and image acquisition's quality determines the speed and quality of processing. Image quality is largely determined by the lighting environment around the target and the object's surface material and placement. A good lighting environment can effectively highlight the object recognition goal, so that the computer can analyze and process the quality of the picture. It can be seen that the design of the lighting system is directly related to the high quality of image acquisition, the good light source and the matching of the lighting system is the guarantee of machine vision system's efficient operation. Therefore, this paper takes the machine vision lighting system as the object, and carries on the following research:Firstly, the machine vision lighting technology is studied deeply. The research contents include the parameters and selection of the light source, the position layout of the light source, the selection of the LED light source's shape, the intensity of the light source, the uniformity of the light source, the influence of the spectral characteristics on the image, the use of the optical auxiliary device.Secondly, the model of light source illumination is established. Through to LED lamp, LED light source of luminous flux, measured illuminance calculation to determine the measured target image analysis, design requirements and the principle of lighting. At the same time, combined light source's intensity superposition and uniformity are analyzed by the Tracepro software simulation design, The light intensity superposition and uniformity of the light source illumination are analyzed, and the conclusion that the reasonable distribution of the light source can increase the light intensity and the illumination uniformity is obtained, which provides a reference for the design and research of the machine vision illumination system.Third, the overall scheme of the on-line machine vision lighting experimental system design, selection of appropriate hardware structure of the image, design software, realize the function of the experimental system, ensure the system runs well.Finally, I did a large number of experiments about the characteristics and layout of light on images. It has been verified by the experiment, the test system can realize accurate, continuous, real-time image acquisition, can provide all kinds of the layout of the light source of all-round, multi-angle approach, to simulate the image acquisition of production line detection. Can provide all-round, multi-angle light layout, can carry on the simulation to the production line testing environment.
