On the currently market, most passive intermodulation analyzer are based on single chip solutions, this solution has some insufficiency on some aspects such as data processing, graphical display and report generation and so on. So now all the PIA manufacturers are using PC software to improve these short-comings. With stronger PC graphical interface system and powerful PC hardware resource, it makes the PIA device intuitive display and easy to operate. However, using .NET platform and C# language makes the difficulty of development and maintenance reduced greatly. According passive inter-modulation analyzer testing system characteristics, Based on .NET platform and using WinForm technology developed this software system.In this paper, described the background and significance of passive inter-modulation analyzer testing system.
