Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of science and technology, industrial automation, human-machine interface has already realized contacting and interacting between human and machine on the manufacturing equipment. Nowadays, the panel interface of the traditional press equipment, which has the old mechanical electrical control and display components, irregular panel layout, numerous components wirings and loss of function, has been unable to meet the needs of current production.This paper describes the design and implementation of electric control and display system of press machine. It raises a design of HMI with the integration of operation and monitoring, improvement of equipment function and application of the integration of the content of the panel interface. The design selects Proface touch screen as the display interface, RS232 or industrial ethernet as the mean of communication between interface and PLC by considering the functions to be achieved and other factors.ProfaceGP2500 can achieve the communication with PLC by using RS232 or industrial ethernet, and then controls the electric actuators. Status alert, numerical display settings, fault alarm real-time pop-up display, information archive, auto flip, information login and other functions can be developed by using Proface programming. So different kinds of operation procedure(lubrication operation, main motor running, etc.), numerical display(lubrication parameters, balancer pressure, etc.), alarm output, equipment management, and other related procedures pictures can be designed on press machine. It achieves the clear and orderly process picture, real-time controlled and monitored parameters, timely displayed and archived failure warning, comprehensive equipment management information. Then validity check can be realized by the means of analog simulation. The practice proved that Proface can centralized operate and monitor the equipment, make the operation more simple and orderly, trouble shooting more objective, the parameter display more convenient, equipment management more standardized.
