Along with the continuous development of the Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) signal processing technology and rapid improvement in performance of processing device. The bottleneck problem that restricts the application of the missile borne SAR seeker guidance engineering is gradually resolved. Missile borne SAR imaging seeker guidance contains three basic processes of SAR imaging, image matching and positioning. Because of the shortage of traditional guidance technology, While the missile borne SAR imaging can be all weather, all day time work. Application of SAR imaging technology in missile borne guidance seeker has become a hotspot in the development of radar seeker. Thus gave birth to a variety of excellent performance of new system seeker. Therefore, In this thesis, The following research is done in missile borne SAR imaging seeker system and signal processing based on practical engineering application needs.Firstly, This thesis designs a workflow of missile borne SAR imaging seeker and radar signal processing flow. In particular, This thesis mainly introduces the realization process of SAR imaging software engineering and the realization of image compression in engineering implementation, And demonstration method of overall parameters of radar system.Secondly, The missile borne SAR imaging algorithm based on falling segment is studied. To divide the sub aperture imaging as the train of thought to analysis of the target echo signal characteristics.and derivated an improved sub aperture dechirp imaging algorithm. According to the actual needs, The formula of image geometric correction is derived. Finally, The validity of the algorithm is verified by the simulation of point target and surface target.Thirdly, The field experiment of radar seeker accomplished in this thesis. The experimental results of vehicle borne radar static calibration experiment, vehicle borne SAR radar band imaging experiment, vehicle borne SAR radar spotlight imaging experiment and airborne SAR radar imaging are given. The experimental problem analysis is also given. According to the experimental results of SAR imaging, The missile borne SAR imaging seeker system stability and process normality are verified.
