Since 1950s, the Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) kept on developing, now it was widely applied in military and civilian domain. In 1980s, by the development of digital signal processing technology and general-purpose DSP chips, the level of Radar imaging technique was kept on developing. As a new embranchment of the SAR, Missile-borne SAR is taken much into account and researched more and more. According to the characteristic of missile-borne signal processing and combining the technology of DSP and parallel processing, a hardware basing on three high performance DSP chips named TS203 and a FPGA is designed cooperatively. We simulated R-D algorithm of SAR imaging by softwarea and based on missile-borne SAR signal processing system we have realized the R-D subaperture algorithm of synthetic aperture radar (SAR)The main content in this dissertation include:1. According to the basic principle and signal processing of SAR imaging, accomplished the tragedy determination of missile-bome SAR real-time signal processing system..2. Based on the requirement of image formation algorithm, We research Motion compensation based on the MD- arithmetic.3. The basic principle and signal processing of Missile-borne SAR imaging are described. Single target and mulit-target echo imaging are simulated by software.4. Test missile-bome SAR real-time signal processing system by echo simular, it shows satisfying result.
