In recent years, as the internet is becoming prevalent and the number of netizen is increasing sharply, online advertising business develops rapidly. Providing richer means of expression, internet advertising is significantly better than traditional print and media advertising in interactivity, timeliness, cost and other aspects. Meanwhile, internet advertising can realize precision marketing by tracking and studying internet behavior and browsing habits of the users. So internet advertising has attracted a growing number of advertisers. In order to enhance the propaganda effect of advertising, websites increase the number and the display area of advertising, which affects the obtaining of effective information for users. Websites that join in the advertising alliance, driven by profit, are easy to forge data by automatic poping-up, forcible playing and clicking and so on, because they do not contact directly with advertisers and lack effective supervision. These behaviour not only does affect users' normal use, but also waste broadband and time and defrauds advertising costs of advertisers. Parts of malicious advertising are used to spread malicious software or false information, which may result in damage to the interests of users. In addition, some users concern about the privacy data of their own, and dislike personal information being used in precision marketing. There are some parents who expressed concerns about games and vulgar advertising content on the websites.Based on open-source Privoxy project, we developed a software product using VC++, which can filter the specified advertising content and reduce or eliminate the negative impact of advertising on users. First, we extract the main function requirements by trying the advertising-filtering products available on the market. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of these products collected by browsing relevant forums and using search engines, the list of requirements was sorted out. Then, the realization principles and the technique models of similar function were studied by using the methods of capture, reverse and analyzing the source code. Ultimately, by literature survey and analyzing some open-source projects, we determined URL filtering model based on Privoxy technology. According to this model, an advertising filtration product was designed and proposed. Relative to the other products available on the market, my product shows better interception ability. It can prevent downloading of advertising resources in advance and has the ability to intercept pre-rolls on the video sites. The product passes the advertising-blocking test of common websites and advertising alliance.
