As the society and technology is developing, people’s living standards is improving and the demand for medical care is also increasing. Since the network communication technology continues to strengthen, series of medical technology based on network,such as the remote medical, the remote care and other medical methods will become the future development trend of medical care. And the key technology is physiological signal acquisition, transmission, storage and processing. This system is designed based on Ethernet, constructing a physiological signal monitoring transmission system aiming at monitoring system, based on the information processing, display, management, to form a new treatment platform which is easy to operate.This design mainly adopts the modularization management, two part mainly divided into two parts: acquisition transmission module and database management module. Data acquisition is realized through the USB port to connect the monitor and the computer, Using Microsoft Corp MsComm32 control to realize the physiological signal acquisition. Data transmission by Ethernet through the TCP/IP protocol to connect, realize the communication between the hosts with Winsock socket. Database management module accesses Oracle database through PowerBuilder interface to realize patient information to add, modify, delete, query and other operations.Management module Processes physiological signal, realizes the display, analysis,print and other functions.
