With the development of technology, the requirements of people to the degree of intelligence are getting higher, all kinds of recognition technology has been used in mobile terminal. The application of cloud platform server provides the users with the calculation ability of cloud computer group through the Internet and virtual technology. It can provide the supercomputing service at lower cost.The application of face recognition technology has become more widely. It has been widely used in the security authentication, human-computer communication, intelligent home, video conference, schools named and remote personnel verification and so on. The complex facial structure of face and human rich expression will produce the huge data. It is difficult to storage and process these huge data. However, mobile cloud computing platform can collect data, provides face recognition services for people whenever and wherever. Therefore, this thesis proposes the one of application model of face recognition system base on mobile cloud platform. The face recognition attendance system not only can realize the school attendance information and automation, but also can help the students and the teachers to carry on the analysis and the appraisal system of learning.In this thesis, according to the situation of the school, we design the school attendance system. We accomplish the system general design and functional module design. Also the face recognition system can achieve the face recognition and view students' information. You can view the situation of absence student and the personal schedule. The teacher can assign grades and publish homework to students. Firstly, we accomplish the face recognition. The particular way is: we generate the face eigenvalues file through training. And then, the system compared the characteristics of detected face with the training eigenvalues file. We complete face recognition combined with the LDA algorithm. Secondly, school attendance system was implemented. Finally, the system has realized the function about the efficient data storage and forwarding.It is combined with the knowledge of cloud computing.
