Image mosaic algorithm is a key technology in the field of image processing,and is currently a hot research direction,have done a lot of research.However,the image mosaic research on mobile platforms has been relatively small,some of the traditional PC image stitching algorithm in handling efficiency and resource consumption are not necessarily suitable for mobile platforms.Android is the current mainstream operating system for mobile platforms,so it is particularly necessary to study the image mosaic algorithms and applications in the Android platform,with some practical significance.This paper carried out the following related work.Firstly,review the image mosaic of several processes,including image acquisition,image preprocessing,image registration and image fusion.Study the filtering and scaling algorithm in pretreatment,and decided use the Gaussian filter and second order linear interpolation algorithm to filtering and scaling by contrast experiments,and detailly introduce the basic frame of image registration.Secondly,study the image mosaic algorithm which is based on the edge contour extraction,and propose a new image mosaic algorithm based on chain code corner detection.The algorithm adopts the idea of greedy registration,firstly group the chain code according to the length,then match exactly based on greed chain code registration and finally a complete mosaic image is obtained.Then,study the image mosaic algorithm based on the ratio of gray template registration,to reduce the mis-alignment,add the Sobel gradient factor into the ratio of template matching algorithm,transform the template registration problem to the similar segment issues,and these improvements improve the accuracy of the ratio of template matching algorithmlastly implement the algorithm in the Android platform and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm.Last of all,design an Android platform-based image mosaic software,and then achieve the main functional modules of the software with these improved algorithm,such as splicing module and image repair module etc.,achieve the goals of study the image stitching algorithm in the Android platform and apply it to the practice.
