Along with the development of computer technology, computer technology is more and more widely applied in practical production in our daily life. Computer technology has become an important means of boosting productivity. As a branch of computer technology, computer aided design(CAD) has vigorous vitality and good development prospects. CAD is not only a key high-tech to boost the development and transformation of scientific research achievements, promote the updating and the reform of traditional industries, realize design automation, enhance the market competition ability of enterprises and their products, as well as to speed economy development and the modernization of national defense, but also an important basic technology of Computer Integration Manufacture System(CIMS). The degree of CAD technology application has already become an important sign to weigh modernization of science and technology and level of industry modernization in a nation.Terrain reconstruction and visualization technology is one of the key techniques of virtual reality and three-dimensional geographic information system, having widespread application in flight simulator, video games, electronic sand table, etc. With the development of the routing problem, the path planning problem is proposed and solved by some path search algorithms, which is the core content in solving the problem of path planning. Particle swarm optimization algorithm got great development in recent years. It is characterized by simple implementation and fast convergence. Based on this basis, it is possible to research and implement the route location optimization.In this paper, we study the route location optimization problem. Especially, the technology of terrain reconstruction and particle swarm optimization algorithm in the route location optimization problems are deeply studied. Combined with related technology, in this paper, the terrain reconstruction is used to simulate the real terrain, two methods for reconstruction and terrain simulation are proposed and implemented, which are based on three dimensional reconstruction function of the ACIS and MATLAB. On the basis of the above terrain reconstruction technology, route location optimization technique use particle swarm optimization algorithm to optimize the toute on designated generated terrain, generating the path that satisfies the particle swarm optimization algorithm, and showed in three-dimensional form by visualization technology. So the speed of route location optimization can be improved greatly. This paper has an important instructive significance for the real line path selection, and reduces the inconvenience and cost of the field surveying and huge amounts of data, it can generate considerable economic benefits and social benefits.
