With the further development of cloud computing,more and more enterprises provide public cloud services by building a virtualized data center or build a business-oriented internal private cloud platform.Therefore,the number of cloud computing data centers are increasing,the server also speed expansion of the scale,but with the expansion of the size of the server,maintenance and management of the data center has become very complex,and the low utilization of server resource as well as high energy consumption and other problems must be resolved.In order to solve the existing problems,virtualization technology and resources dynamic consolidation technology has been widely used,the virtual machine live migration is one of the key technologies,so the research of virtual machine live migration for improving data center resource integration capability has very important significance.In this thesis,a series of research work about OpenStack cloud computing platform are conducted.Based on the problem of load imbalance in multiple compute nodes in OpenStack,this thesis achieved virtual machine autonomic migration system based on OpenStack.This system collect performance statistics of all of servers and virtual machine by performance monitoring module,and virtual machine migration scheduling module analysis performance statistics to identify which node overload or under load to adjust,designed a scheduling strategy to find out the best destination node for virtual machine live migration.This system reduced energy consumption of computing data center and improved resource utilization of servers.In addition,this paper make depth study in the current mainstream virtual machine live migration mechanism,and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of existing virtual machine migration mechanisms,from the perspective of reducing the performance loss caused due to the migration of virtual machines,proposed Hybrid-copy live migration mechanism.Ensuring the total migration time and the total amount of data migration acceptable premise,it can reduce virtual machine's number of fetching page after recovery running at the destination node.This migration mechanism has been programming in KVM.Experiments have shown that Hybrid-copy live migration mechanism to some extent,retained the Post-copy mechanism's advantage of transmit less data and the short total migration time,and reduces virtual machine's 51.2% of the number of fetching page after recovery running at the destination node,thereby effectively reducing the performance loss caused due to the migration of virtual machines,improving the efficiency of the application within virtual machines.
