In recent years, with the more and more attention about the intensive storage system, there are more demands for working efficiency. Shuttle racking system is one of the most commonly used intensive storage systems. Now among the shuttle racking system, the operators use the remote control operate the RGV transport the goods. However, if the operators want to know the basic information of RGV during the process of transport the goods such as: Which RGV could start work when the goods are ready to storage, the remaining battery display of the RGV or the track statues of the RGV.But design of Android-based remote terminal system for RGV can solve these problems effectively. On the internet environment, by using the wireless LAN to realize the information communication between the android telephone and the PLC control system of RGV. The operators install the terminal system software on their android telephone, through it sending command information to the RGV. At the same time, the control system of RGV could put its information feedback on the interface of android telephone of the operator. Then the operator can know the running state of the RGV. It is convenient for people to complete the storage work of the goods.This thesis uses a modular design method and studied on every function about the control system of RGV. We use wifi technology and Modbus protocol to complete the wireless information communication between the terminal system and the RGV control system. Also this thesis designs a storage management information system, which can complete the communication with the terminal remote system of the RGV, which is more convenient for operators start the work about the storage of the goods. Having realized the two-way communication after debugging the terminal system, we can see that the system has a high feasibility.
