Innovative Research On Hive Mind With Internet

Internet was invented in the mid twentieth Century, and it initiated a revolution in human society. According to the annual Measuring the Information Society Report released by ITU(International Telecommunication Union) in November 30,2015, currently there are 3.2 billion Internet users, representing 43.4% of the global population. While the global mobile-cellular users have reached almost 7.1 billion,with over 95% of the global population now covered by a mobile-cellular signal.With the rapid development of Internet communities, interpersonal communicati ons have never been more effective and convenient. The terminology “Hive Mind”originates from the life mode of a hive: the work in a hive is well distributed to all the bees and together they keep the hive functioning. Metaphorically, Hive Mind describes the behavior of groups of Internet users adopting the methodology of collective and collaborative utilization of intelligence power. Hive Mind is an integral collaboration consisting of individual contribution. Each individual is both a receiver and an executer in a hive mind project and together they accomplish the jobs.Collective thinking and differentiated strengths are emphasized in Hive Mind and it is believed that we can accomplish more together than apart.The discussion of the new organization which transfers from the one-way connection to multi-way connection is also included in this thesis. The world is going through crucial transformation with the development of Internet. Technology revolution is affecting the status of how society functions, and in this transition, the original relationship in the traditional organizations began to malfunction. Multiple links replaced one-way links gradually which conformed the new regulation in the organization. Hive Mind began to play an important role due to its advantages in organization. Different from the original structure, Hive Mind has no centralization.In the meantime, it is self- accommodated and inclusive. Recall the history, the so-called elite individuals' power was often overestimated and the complexity of the crowd based organisms was usually less considered. Hive Mind is adaptable and evolvable, such that it conforms vitality of the living system. Hive Mind isself-adaptive and tolerant to redundancies and errors. It responses to the change of the Internet environment smoothly. Equality and interaction are basic properties of Hive Mind.
