The wireless sensor network collect environmental information, establish self organization network, transmit data at multi-hop, get all kinds of physical information of the interested region through a large number of sensor nodes deployed in the target area. It has been widely used in the field of military reconnaissance, industrial and agricultural production, environmental monitoring. In the agricultural production, the greenhouse has been widely used, but the different demands of crops in greenhouse environment vary greatly, the sensitivity which face the change of environment parameters is also different, so monitoring the environment parameters of greenhouse in real time becomes imperative, applying the wireless sensor network technology into production in greenhouse, establishing the monitoring system of greenhouse based on wireless sensor network, collecting the environment information, transmitting data controlling device has important significance to realize the sustainable development of greenhouse crop production.In this paper, based on wireless sensor network technology, we design and implement greenhouse monitoring system, the system collect temperature, humidity, illumination and other environmental parameters using TelosB sensor nodes, transmit data to the sink node wirelessly, sink node communicate with monitoring center through GPRS network. The monitoring center analyses the data and make the decision of sending the monitoring command, client access monitoring center, to obtain the required data and also can send control command..The main content of the paper is as follow:1.. Analyses the background and significance of the topic, reviews the related research status at home and abroad, puts forward the main content and structure of the thesis.2. Puts forward the overall architecture of the greenhouse automatic monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks, including the sensor nodes, the sink node, monitoring center and the client.3. Analyses the CTP routing protocol of wireless sensor network (collection tree protocol) and improve it, make it can collect environmental parameters and send control command.4. Designs the monitoring center which can receive data coming from the sensor nodes, storage data and analyses data, the client can get data from the monitoring center. The monitoring center can forward the monitoring command.5. Designs the computer client and mobile phone client, it can obtain the real-time data from the monitoring center, historical data and visually displayed to the user.Finally, we tested the system, analyzed the experimental results, summed up the shortcomings of the system, and put forward the following work.
