The trade finance business of Industry Bank has annually increased during recent years, which benefits from the rapid development of domestic trade finance business. However, the traditional manual ledger management in Industry Bank fails to meet the requirements of business development. The trade finance business actually has already been equipped with informationized and networked conditions. Thus, the business development of Industry Bank will be enhanced by informationized management of trade finance business that also will become the basis for the sustainable business development in the near future.The construction of informationized trade finance system fundamentally roots in the combination of Industry Bank's own development and information technology. A preferable plan made for Industry Bank will not only be apt to the development of current business but also emphasize the forward-looking for future business. The trade finance system adopts B/S frame, object-oriented in analysis, design and developing methods with related theories of software engineering. The in-depth analysis for issues that should be solved and detailed introduction for key techniques during the system construction are all based on the trade finance system of Industry Bank. The system is clearly divided into several departments, including trade finance, electronic banking, risk management, credit approval, and legal compliance through the system analysis. The function analysis for every department is illustrated by diagrams, involving E-R diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram and other diagrams to accomplish detailed design. The whole system is finally realized by Java developing language with black box testing method and performance testing method to finish system test.The system mainly consists of four module including public management, prepayment financing, financing of movable property, receivable financing and other associated items. The system has already launched. After undergoing a period of stable operation, it has promoted the level of the bank's trade finance business management and won back more positive feedback from clients, meanwhile the bank business has also been broadened thanks to the developed system.
