With the rapid development of information technology and the impact of the Internet wave,as the first media of the family,the TV also begin to move towards to the direction of networking?intelligent and develop rapidly, and it is becoming another information access terminal after the computer, the phone and the tablet, namely smart TV.It is equipped with a smart operating system and can connect to the Internet.The users can enjoy regular TV content and surf the Web at the same time.Besides, the users can customized installing and uninstalling various types of applications,expand and upgrade the function continuously.As the core code of Android system is open-source? stable,the service of Android system is free and can connect to the Internet seamlessly, (the Android system) not only can browse all Internet pages but also can play online video, play online games, listen to online music,it has become today's most mainstream smart TV operating system.This paper mainly research the architecture of smart TV which is based on Android operating system and transplant the Android operating system to the hardware platform 3RT84AV-2D which is self-developed by Shenzhen Thai Lin Technology Co., Ltd, build the software platform of the smart TV, compile the program of system modules and burn them to the hardware platform, test and analyze the transplanted system. For the future positioning of smart TV is interactive home entertainment center,which is a experience of "one to many",(the paper)research some current novel functions and applications of the smart TV and analyze the characteristics and development prospects of them, such as speech recognition technology, motion recognition technology and multi-screen interactive technology. In connection with the text input bottleneck of Smart TV, proposed a input mode which is based on digital squares mapping.The navigation user interface is modular layout which is convenient for the user to switch the content with remote control,and introduce the healthy-eye mode to improve the user experience.
