The combination of inertial navigation system and satellite navigation system is the most widely used integrated navigation, and its advantage is obvious.. Because of its own advantages and disadvantages, a combination of inertial navigation system and GPS is well solves the these problems, after appropriate filtering model processing, to achieve complementary advantages, greatly improves the positioning accuracy. This paper studies the INS/GPS loose integrated navigation system. From two aspects of theory and practice, for loose combination filter model establishment method carried out a series of research work at the same time, it establishes the corresponding error model and loose combination navigation system of the state and observation models. On the basis of the repeated tests and comparative analysis, static environment and dynamic environment of the data collected by the in vehicle navigation system and after treatment within the industry and the interception of a period of time operation were compared. After many experiments, the results show that the INS/GPS can effectively improve the accuracy after the combination, and it has practical engineering application value for navigation and localization.
