An ERP system manages a large number of enterprise resource data and process, which requires that the ERP system has very high flexibility and stability so that it can response to the changes of market and enterprise business quickly. Component technology can increase the reuse of the software, make the system development more efficient and flexible. It can meet the needs of enterprise information to use component technology in the ERP system.A kind of system architecture based on component for ERP is presented in order to introduce the component technology into ERP system. It shows the formal description of component model in the architecture. The model is described from four aspects of property, interface, facet, relevant documents. Component calls in the design phase and the deployment phase is achieved by the method of the class loader and news events, which provides the basis for the implementation of component assembly mechanism. An ERP system based on component technology is mainly composed of business modeling subsystem, component validator subsystem, component library, component search subsystem, component assembly system and run-time platform. The function of each subsystem and the relationship between them are discussed in detail.Component search subsystem makes use of the facet description in the formal description model to calculate the matching of the search conditions and descriptions. The partial matching algorithm is presented in the matching calculation. First the algorithm finds the matching of nodes in search conditions through the index, and then defines the concept of partial matching and equivalent matching. In the matching process the algorithm tries to find the equivalent and partial matching and records them. At last it combines the partial matching and generates the matching result.Finally an ERP framework based on the system architecture presented is realized and the algorithm experiment is done in the framework. The feasibility of the system architecture and algorithm is verified by analyzing the experiment data.
