To innovate architecture of traditional household medical instruments, integrated AFE(analog front end) was used to simplify medical sensors design, MIC(microphone) interface, Bluetooth and OTG(on the go) technology were used to connect peripherals to smartphones as choices. Three medical instruments based on Android smartphone were developed in this thesis. The work included three parts:First, system architecture of the medical instruments based on smartphone was fulfilled: specific AFE(analog front end) was used to acquire human vital signal; Through connection between smartphones and peripherals, signal was transferred to smartphones for further analyzing using inner algorithm; users and doctors interacted using smartphones on the basis of cloud-based healthcare platform, convenient for monitoring and diagnosis.Second, sensors design of human vital signs was fulfilled: AD8232 integrated AFE was used to design ECG conditioning circuit; MPXV5050 GP integrated silicon sensor was used to convert pressure to voltage; AFE4400 integrated AFE was used for SpO2 measuring; power module was also finished.Third, design of connection of peripherals to smartphone was fulfilled. ADG601 chip worked as the analog switch for PAM(pulse amplitude modulation) function; Arduino Due acquisition card and serial port to Bluetooth module HC-06 built the connection between peripherals and smartphones; Arduino Due acquisition card also supported OTG connection through inner serial port to USB module. On the basis of above work, smartphone ECG based on MIC, smartphone blood pressure monitor based on Bluetooth and smartphone pulse oximeter based on Bluetooth were given. Comparison experiments confirmed reliability and effectiveness of this thesis.
