3D vision measurement technology is the key development direction of 3D measurement field, which is an active structure light 3D measurement method has the advantages of low cost, high resolution and speed advantage and practicability, the measurement technology is a relatively mature two gray Gray code measurement, through structure light irradiation on the measured object the reflected light, receiving and encoding and decoding, the final restoration pattern, this method does not need to contact the surface of the object, but also it has high anti-interference ability, suitable for the measurement of precious objects, but it needs 10 pieces of pattern to complete the measurement task, measuring speed is limited, therefore, this article from the two gray level gray mature 3D measurement method starting, according to the measured object in the static situation, multi gray level measurement method of three-dimensional gray code pattern less.In two gray level gray code encoding and decoding on the basis of theoretical analysis, using a plurality of gray level coding pattern formation, under the same conditions retained the two gray level gray code of high anti-interference ability, and can effectively reduce the number of coding patterns, significantly improve the efficiency of measurement. In four gray level five bit gray as an example of the multi gray level gray code encoding and decoding principle are described. The reconstructed complex surface is smooth and delicate, and it can reflect the details of the surface, which is the same as the visual effect of the surface.
