Ozone (O3) is an efficient disinfectant. Nowadays it is widely used in the field of keeping fruits and vegetables fresh, food processing and workshop disinfection. However, it is necessary to monitor the concentration of O3during the use of ozone. Nowadays, two types of ozone concentration detector are most commonly used. One is only can test a single point, without the function of spatial distribution reflecting. The other can test several points, with the difficulty of wiring and only digital displaying interface. Therefore, it is necessary to design ozone concentration detection system with the feature of distributed testing, foolproof wiring and displaying the ozone's distribution. Research on the detection system is carried out in this paper from two aspects, the design of hardware and software.Drawing a collection plate of ozone's concentration, designing a wireless router and designing a wireless gateway are included in the design of hardware. The32-bit MC of NuMicroM051TM series is chosen as controller in the circuit of collection plate. The collection plate can accurately get ozone concentration by MQ131gas sensor. On the basis of the collection plate, wireless router was equipped with a routing function. It combines routing and data acquisition functions. The module of XBee is chosen as the wireless module of wireless module. The wireless module is constituted of XBee and the circuit serial converter, achieving the function of communicating with PC software.The content of software design is including the programming of device driver, configuring the wireless module and designing of PC software. The device driver makes a coordination control of the function of Flash?PWM and UART so as to realize the function of data acquisition and upload at the detection terminal as well as the function of command reception from PC etc. The X-CTU software supporting XBee module can configure the wireless module. The PC software is responsible for data handling; it can be used to calibrate the detection terminal from remote. At the same time, this software not only can display the concentration of O3at real time, but it also can present the distribution of ozone's concentration from the measured environment.In this system, the distributed detection terminal uploads the collected data to the PC software through wireless. The data is presented by this software in three ways:list mode, line chart, color gradation mode. The testing and experiments show this system has fully function, can safe and stable operation. This system has solved the problems, such as single-point detection, the difficulty of wiring, poor displaying interface.
